As someone who is Dominican, I've had to learn patience with myself while navigating what it means to belong, to define, and to embrace all the parts of who I am.
The pomegranate became a natural symbol,a fruit that requires care, and time to fully experience. It cannot be rushed, just like identity cannot be forced into clarity overnight.
Through soft florals and layered elements, this piece honors the beauty of becoming, not as something immediate, but as something that unfolds.
Patience is trusting that who you are is still forming, and allowing it the time to do so.
